У оквиру обиљежавања 56. Дучићевих вечери поезије, јуче је у Музеју Херцеговине у Требињу одржана трибина о проблемима српског језика данас, под називом ,,Још двије, три ријечи о језику, роде“. На трибини су говорили проф. др Срето Танасић, предсједник Одбора за стандардизацију српског језика и проф. др Вељко Брборић, подпредсједник Одбора за стандардизацију српског језика.
Директорка Музеја Херцеговине у Требињу, гђа Ивана Грујић, поздравила је предаваче и публику и истакла да је Требиње и простор Дучићеве сале у Музеју Херцеговине у Требињу право мјесто гдје се може говорити о овој теми.
Говорећи о проблемима и искушењима са којима се српски језик данас сусреће, Танасић и Брборић су скренули пажњу на положај ћирилице, као и на проблем очувања писаног ћириличног насљеђа. Као један од начина превазилажења овог проблема, Танасић и Брборић су издвојили повећање броја часова српског језика у школама, као и враћање лекторске службе у средства информисања.
По завршетку предавања, публика је имала прилику да предавачима постави питања која се тичу проблема са којима се суочава развој и опстанак српској језика у савременој култури и образовном систему.
As part of the celebration of the 56th Dučić Poetry Evenings, yesterday at the Museum of Herzegovina in Trebinje, a forum was held on the problems of the Serbian language today, entitled „Two more, three words about the language, storks“. Prof. Dr. Sreto Tanasić, president, of the Committee for the Standardization of the Serbian Language and Prof. Dr. Veljko Brborić, vice president of the Committee for the Standardization of the Serbian Language,spoke at the forum.
The director of the Museum of Herzegovina in Trebinje, Mrs. Ivana Grujić, greeted the lecturers and the audience and pointed out that Trebinje and the area of the Dučić Hall in the Museum of Herzegovina in Trebinje is the right place to talk about this topic.
Speaking about the problems and trials that the Serbian language is facing today, Tanasić and Brborić drew attention to the position of the Cyrillic alphabet, as well as the problem of preserving the written Cyrillic heritage. As one of the ways to overcome this problem, Tanasić and Brborić singled out an increase in the number of Serbian language lessons in schools, as well as the return of the proofreading service to the media.
After the lecture, the audience had the opportunity to ask the lecturers questions concerning the problems faced by the development and survival of the Serbian language in modern culture and the educational system.
